Birding Uganda

Birding safaris in Uganda is amazingly a unique experience, which makes Uganda one of the best African Birding Safari destination.

Most birds are commonly found in swamps, forests, lake shore and golf courses and among the commonly sited birds include: Handsome Francolin, Rwenzori Turaco, Montana Night Jar, Dwarf Honey guide, Archer’s Robin Chat, Red Throated Alethe, Kivu ground thrush, Red faced Woodland warbler, Regal and Purple-breasted Sunbirds, Strange Weaver, Lammergeyer, Red-thighed Sparrow hawk, Barred Long-tailed Cuckoo, African Long-eared Owl, Western Green Tinker bird, Olive woodpecker, Golden Winged and Scarlet-tufted Malachite Sun birds and Evergreen Forest and Bamboo Warblers to mention a few
